Across the web you’ll find ratings for hotels, resorts, cruises, events, and venues; however nobody has created a standardized ranking system for flights. Considering that millions of Americans will be flying to their destination this year, we felt it was important to give the public an unbiased look at their flight options.
TripAnomaly monitors millions of flights and then calculates a reliability score based on a multitude of factors. We’re proud to be the first to create a standardized ranking system for individual flights.
TripAnomaly looks at factors such as how often this flight is delayed, the severity of the delay, how often the flight has been canceled, diverted, and more. It then compares that score to both flights operating the same city pair route as well as all flights operating across the country. The final score is in relation to all other flights. A TripAnomaly score of “10″ means that this flight has earned our trust. A flight with a score of “1″ should be avoided whenever possible.
A quick search of TripAnomaly could mean the difference between sitting on the beach or sitting in an airport terminal wishing you’re ON the beach!
